May has always been one of my favorite months because it means great Spring weather, pops of color, and most of all, celebrating Mothers.  As I have shared many times in the past, my Mother was my greatest inspiration.  She taught me to see the beauty in the most common details and shaped my sense of style and design.  The greatest legacy she left me was to experience the beauty in everything.  I miss her every day, and each Mother’s Day, I always toast her by celebrating my own children and grandchildren in the hopes that I can provide the same love and foundation for them that she did for me.

Last but definitely not least, I want to thank again the Ripkanistas who hosted a very special luncheon in New York City a few Saturdays ago.  They graciously invited Allison and me, and we had the most wonderful time.  Check out the picture of the group, which I think is the perfect way to end my Mother’s Day blog and celebrate so many great women.  Also, a special thank you to Allison, for all of your love and support.  I love working with you and feel lucky to have inherited a new daughter when you married Brian.
