Celebrate Spring with Cherry Blossoms

A quick note to let you know about the celebration of Spring at the Smithsonian Instituition's National Museum of Natural History and the 100th anniversary of the Cherry Blossoms arrival into Washington DC.  Tomorrow night, April 19th from 7-9PM please tune in for brand new styles designed for this occasion.

Judith Ripka has designed an incredible ring and earring celebrating the beauty of the Cherry Blossoms.  They are truly works of art.   Each petal takes almost one hour to properly cut to Judith’s specifications.  For the first time, Judith has included a champagne diamond just in the center.

Other items include an earring and pendant with pink MOP flowers and tourmaline centers.  This is the first time we are using Ametrine in a long time.   It has been such a difficult stone to obtain and we wanted to make sure there was a large presence of amethyst and citrine in each stone.

One my other favorites is the rainbow diamond ring.   It was especially designed to celebrate the rainbow not only through the multiple colors of diamonds but also the artist’s rendition of a rainbow on the shank.  You can almost feel the rainbow reaching up to the sky.

Please tune in and enjoy the show.  It will be great entertainment and educational as well.   We will have footage of the DC cherry blossoms at their peak and great stories on the incredible inspirations from the gem gallery through b-roll with Smithsonian curator, Dr. Jeffrey Post.

Take care,

Peyton
