DAVID:

Welcome back to New York. I missed you. The whole office has missed you! Your dogs Max and Samantha miss you! So is everything going well in LA? Did you find a house yet??

JOAN:

Don’t ask! No house yet but I am having a wonderful time with Melissa and Cooper.

DAVID:

I know. I watched every episode of Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best. Hilarious and it’s so wonderful to see you with Cooper and Mel. But come on Joan, you are a New Yorker. Don’t you miss the east coast?

JOAN:

OK – I’m announcing it here and now- I am officially bi-coastal! I will be splitting my time between LA and NYC! I will be in the office a couple of days a week in NYC and in LA to tape Fashion Police for E! (and to continue looking for a place to live!)

DAVID:
Thank God! We’ve been so busy working on the summer and fall collections and I need you in the office. I have so much to show you. Lots of new clothing designs and tons of new jewelry samples have started to arrive for our holiday shows.

JOAN:

David, I meant to tell you, I have been living in the sample of the new sequin blazer that we have debuting this September. People are stopping me on the street asking where they can buy it. Melissa took it right off my back while we were at a photo shoot!

So now that you are back in NYC every week, what have you been up to?

JOAN:

You know me – theater, theater, theater. I just love it and I try to see something whenever I have a night off. Just in the last week I saw the new musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!).

And this is the ADORABLE Guy Pearce, who played Adam/Felicia in the film!

Last night I went to the play Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo with Robin Williams. Robin is not just a brilliant comic but a fantastic actor as well!

I also caught two off-Broadway productions…. I’m in heaven!!!

DAVID:

How do you do it? I live full time in New York City and I’m lucky if I get to the theatre once a month. OK…. changing subject, tell our QVC readers about the newest addition to your family.

JOAN:

If you have been watching Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best! you know that I have a new dog, Lola. She is an adorable Jack Russell and I am made for her. She is going to stay with Melissa while I’m in NY and so far she gets along just fine with Missy’s dog, Mike.

Here I am in the “charming” guest room at Melissa’s. Lola gives me her honest opinion on some jokes I’m working on.

Before we sign off, give our QVC gals a quick Fashion Police preview of up-coming spring/summer trends in fashion and jewelry.

JOAN:

Major important moments for spring and summer: Caftans, cotton-crisp jackets and cropped pants, color blocking, animal prints (forever!), bold color watches, long pendants, Red Carpet glamour sunglasses, lacy sequined shawls…. I could go on and on.

DAVID:

It sounds like we are right on trend with our upcoming collections.

JOAN:

And I will be on QVC every month of 2011 with fabulous new things in every visit!. Life is good!

DAVID:

So I’m asking one last time: Are you going to the Royal Wedding at the end of April???

JOAN:

I am NOT saying!
