Green in the City

Dear Summer children all over the country,

Lately here in New York we have had typical sizzling temperatures and humidity but frigid indoors and layers of clothes to carry for all the different environments we find ourselves adapting during this sluggish time.

I am amazed by this photo I took of the majesty of New York City as it embraces Central Park, and all the hundred of acres of nature, greenery, water, zoo, playgrounds and dog runs. This is the background in which I work, always seeking the pure and the natural, the genius simplicity of beautiful engineering, whether in nature or in mans world of things and inventions. Kings and Empresses of the publishing world, the kingpins of WallStreet the movers and shakers of the world of style, trend, art and fashion. My home.
Creativity thrives in an environment that is bursting with life and diversity of all kinds.
My new work, which premiers on Designer Day from 9-11 am on August 5 will no doubt reveal how I harmonize my adoration for the wilderness, with Urban Utopian, Emerald City so to speak, the capital of creativity. I will also be at the "meet and greet" August 4 from 7-9 pm to meet those of you who travel to QVC Studios in West Chester for a fun event.
