Exciting, Busy Summer

Dear Readers,

You may wonder why I chose to put a photo of my shop here, but I wanted to convey the excitement that is swirling around
the Robert Lee Morris brand these days, and my retail store windows (the night we launched the Andy Warhol collection) just show the vibrancy and energy that our company is feeling.

I know I have a series of shows coming up June 20, and 21, (5 hours) and wanted to alert you to a few of the hot trends
that I will be promoting. Long necklaces are really important now, layering several of them, or just wearing singles, gives a
person a taller more willowy appearance. Sacred Geometry as always is a big part of my shows and we will finally be showing the long crop circle necklace and a wonderful pair of crop circle design hoop earrings. As the summer approaches, long looks, open hoops and the feeling of air, breeze, lightness and movement in your jewelry is very key to looking and feeling cool when it is humid and hot out there.

Big news is that I am launching an exciting young new collection in our regular brick and mortar marketplace, called Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James, which is Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's clothing collection that is flying out of stores all over the country. My jewelry collection is a collaboration between myself and the 22 yr. old twins, who discovered me last year when I won the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. This allows me to broaden my brand to a whole new young generation and introduce me to a whole new world of shoppers. Trust me, the twins are brilliant designers and entrepreneurs and the chemistry between us is delightful. You will undoubtedly see lots of press on this collaboration!!!

I also just finished doing a collection of silver and Swarovski crystal for Donna Karan's resort collection, small but very over the top glamourous. We also just finished showing out top of the line jewelry at the Couture show in Las Vegas and I presented a stunning series of very sophisticated sleek silver and gold jewelry and won an award as a finalist in the Town and Country jewelry contest. Last month's Vogue, cover, was a milestone for me in that a pair of my long silver cuffs were prominently shown worn by beautiful Gwyneth Paltrow, in an issue devoted to celebration of the Super Hero and the launch of the film Ironman.

So that's why I chose the photo above....there is just so much exciting stuff happening it seems like even in the hardest of our times, there is lots of light and sparkle to be found!!!
See you soon, and sorry for such a long delay between blogs, but boy I have been flat out busy...
