Sacred Geometry

Dear readers,

I am sure you have heard me mention this many times, but our show on April 11th Designer day, (at 9pm) really centers around the theme of sacred geometry. I am enclosing a photo I took of a special kind of cauilflower I found at Stop and Shop, that really shows sacred geometry in action. This concept is about the origin of beauty that is found in nature as a pattern that follows the most beautiful kind of mathematical logic. Here the vegetable has all these weird spiraling protrusions that make it look like a sea creature or a strange coral growth, But all life forms follow very astounding patterns of sacred geometric growth, like the rings of a tree, or the vertebrae of an animal, the patterns of a sand dune, the form of the DNA molecule etc.

I have always followed these phenomenal forms of beauty as my source of inspiration, their pure simplicity and logical structure, often too complex to understand, but in fact basically just a repeating series of numbers. One place sacred geometry is found that has really boggled my mind, is in crop circles that are formed within only a few hours in vast fields of wheat, corn, barley or grass, in the countryside around England and parts of Europe. These patterns are mysteriously made in utter perfection, mathematical precision, whereby the stalk of grass or whatever it is thats growing, is bent at a perfectly right angle, right at the ground, and then a huge pattern of sacred geometry is formed. Often the folded stalks of grain are ovelaid on the ground in an overlapping herringbone pattern!! Usually so large that they can only be viewed by air, these remain a mystery today, but are actually occurring more frequently each year. And they never repeat!

I have my theory, but I'll keep that to myself, as to who and how they are made, but after a few weeks, the plants rise up again, the patterns disappears and the farmers harvest the field, and its over. If a photo is not take from the air after it is made, it disappears from human experience altogether. I see these crop circles as messages of some kind, in a language of logical numerical patterns, in beauty, patterns that are pleasing to behold yet mind boggling to comprehend. All sacred geometry is a form of PURE TRUTH, like water is wet, and sand is dry, when you drop a pebble into a pond, the sacred geometric pattern of concentric circles is started, and fades away much like the crop circles do. These visions of perfect beauty are what turn me on and guide me for they are certainly from a higher force than anything I have ever encountered.

While there is only one necklace in the collection now with the crop circle designs in it, there are many more designs on their way. Still, while watching me present jewelry. or home. products, always listen and watch for the relationship between my work and the inspiration from the master artist herself, Mother Nature.

have fun,
Robert
