Honoring My Assistants

Dear readers and loyal customers,

Tomorrow, Jan 5th, is Designer day at QVC and I am excited to be a part of the magic that always happens when all of us creators are hanging out together. I wanted to take a moment out to acknowledge the people behind the scenes at RLM. Here is a joyful photo of me with my arm around my key, right hand assistant, Alex, who has been with me for 18 years. Alex is a jeweler and metalsmith trained in the unique methods of my personal style.

I could never produce the quantity of designs I do unless I had such a loyal and trust worthy assistant at my hand as Alex. While I am still the one who conceives the designs, and also make the first prototype, Alex is always there to take the ball and run with it, to take my prototype and reproduce it, enhance it and prepare it for production.
We are here in my studio, with layers of samples and designs behind us, a thick environment of fun and exciting inspirational objects.

Also my most important assistant for the QVC business is Carly Gerrity, whom some of you may have seen once when she went on air for me during one of my recent TSV shows, in the wee hours of the morning while I was getting some crucial sleep. Carly is the one who manages our enormous range of styles, their production and quality control, and also accompanies me to my shows in West Chester as well as London.

MANY THANKS to these very important people behind the scenes of what makes up the man, Robert Lee Morris.
