Thank you all very much for the wonderful comments. I really appreciate your sharing the positive and the opportunities. Every comment has been read and actions are in the works. My next blog will address specifics.

The upcoming Big Bonanza Silver Sale is going to be fantastic. There are so many fabulous pieces throughout the day. The themes this year are varied and many new looks will be featured. Vibrant colors of silver will be introduced including silver, yellow, rose, chocolate, and two brand new colors, blue and purple. Be sure and tune in for the launch of the Today's Special Value. It is elegant, fun, and very colorful. It is launching under the “Lumina” brand which means “full of light” in Italian where this bracelet was designed and produced. Colors are so important in fashion and watch for other items including a new vibrant green.

Cords are back and are affordable, colorful, in fashion, and comfortable to wear. Watch for the Artisan Crafted Cultured Pearl
pendant, and the fabulous Arte d'Argento Sterling Bead Drop Multi-cord necklace.

Textures continue to be hot in high end designer lines and are evident throughout the day. Watch for the hammered texture in the Arte D'Argento bracelet, the brushed finish paired with the rich high polish in the sterling cable twisted hoop earrings (gorgeous and one of my favorites), and diamond cutting in the hot Sterling two tone dimensional bold pendant and the graduated Cleopatra necklace. High polish designs are sleek and bold as in the sterling bold geometric necklace and the Ultrafine graduated
hoop earrings.

I have to mention a few of the artisan crafted items on the day. The multi strand 20 inch coral necklace with Rick during the 4-6 PM hour is magnificent and has so much meaning. There is a fabulous cuff bracelet and matching ring from Suarti that are truly wearable art and will be featured with Antonella, and a cape amethyst necklace and bracelet with Lisa R later in the day.

Do you know what the history behind Bonanza is? I mentioned this history in my blog over a year ago but wanted to repeat it just in case you missed it. March 1, 2009 is the 136th anniversary of the discovery of the richest silver strike in North America, The Comstock Lode. It was found in Virginia City, Nevada and was so enormous, it helped make silver more affordable for the world. At QVC, this is a day-long celebration of all new, all specially priced sterling silver jewelry.

It is estimated that the Comstock Lode produced over $400 million of gold and silver, the greatest single mineral strike of history. The early miners were only concerned with gold, and didn't realize that the blue stuff that interfered with their search for gold was not sand or lead, but silver. It was only after a miner sent a sample to California for testing did they find out it was pure silver. The Comstock Lode was named for Henry T P Comstock who bluffed his way into a partnership with the two Irishmen who actually discovered the claim. Comstock's nickname was Old Pancake because supposedly, he was too lazy to make bread.

Please tune in and don't miss a moment!

Take care, Peyton
