The week of January 19 is going to be a giant week for our country and also here at QVC. The historic event will be celebrated live from the Creative coalition Inauguration Ball in Washington DC. I will be watching from my bed in Richmond while recouping from a little minor medical procedure.


The week really began here at QVC on January 19 with an adorable Hello Kitty Today's Special Value for Diamonique. I sat with Scott, our buyer, and he showed me some of their new designs. WOW, so cute but with the look of fine jewelry. The Today's Special Value was a Hello Kitty Diamonique Sterling Zodiac Pendant. It is so unique and the perfect gift for that loved one or for yourself. Each necklace contains two pendants, one with Hello Kitty in pave Diamonique with the signature red bow, always on the right side, and a beautiful silver disc outlined with Diamonique spelling out the name of the Zodiac Sign. Hello Kitty is dressed in an outfit representing the symbol for each specific Sign. The most beautiful, enamel colors are used. Scott told me that the most difficult process of enameling is used to ensure the quality and color. I asked why Hello Kitty doesn't have a mouth and he said she doesn't need one because she speaks from the heart!


The 161st anniversary of California Gold Rush on January 24th has so many new colors debuting that I don't even know where to start. Did you notice the multi colored bangles on the front of the Program Guide? These are the first ever with five different colors of gold in one bangle. You don't want to miss out on the Today's Special Value for the day it is beautiful! Other items to watch for are the first ever orange gold ring; and a fabulous teal colored gold ring.
