Silver Market Place

As many of you know, artisan crafted jewelry is one of my passions. Silver Market Place is back on air Sunday, December 23 from 17:00 to 19:00. It has been over three months since the last show. We are not able to put these shows on air on a regular basis because of the nature of the product.

Artisan crafted jewelry is made by silversmiths working in small cottage industries around the world. Machines are not used to create any of the components. I have been very fortunate to work on many of the styles that we have presented over the years. In an earlier blog I talked a little bit about how the Indian show came about. We also work with artisans in many other countries-Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, China, Italy, Nepal, and Mexico to bring you unique, exclusive product.

The Today's Special Value on December 23 is a beautiful artisan crafted sterling and 18k charm hoop earring. It was designed by Suarti and produced in her workshops in Indonesia. Suarti is so talented and one of the warmest hearted people I know. She and her husband, Peter, welcomed me into their home in Bali and really made me feel at home. Her daughter Sri, is not only beautiful but a fabulous person. Suarti's Father was a famous model/musician in Bali and is featured in a famous work of art in their local museum.

I will be on air with Lisa Robertson for Silver Market Place and would love for you to call in. Your comments and suggestions are greatly valued. If you can't call in during the show, please post your questions to this blog and I will address them. One of my favorite necklaces will be back with large lapis beads. It sold out so quickly before but this time I hope to get one for my Mother.

Take care and happy holidays,

Peyton
