May Unmistakably Judith Blog Post

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re having a great May.  I love this month because of the weather, the flowers, and of course, Mother’s Day.

The expression, “April showers bring May flowers” has never been truer.  I feel like it hasn’t stopped raining in Palm Beach.  One day last week, the rain was coming down so hard that it felt like golf balls were hitting the roof of the car!

When Beth and I were in London, there was no shortage of rain, but in London, that’s to be expected.

On one of those rainy London days, we ate lunch at The Wolseley, one of the city’s most well known restaurants, located in Piccadilly.  The Wolseley is known for its grand, atmospheric architecture and its full Afternoon Tea, which is served every day at 3pm.

We really enjoyed our time there, although, I think that by the end of our meal, the waiter had had enough of us.  Beth ordered dressing on the side, egg whites instead of eggs, no potatoes, dry toast, a slightly burnt omelet, and hot water for her own tea bag (which she always carries with her in her purse). But, I’ll admit that we both enjoyed a fabulous dessert!

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I can’t help but remember some of my happiest Mother’s Day memories with my family.

I always love to receive gifts with some kind of a personal touch.  Whether it’s a handwritten note or a drawing made by one of my grandchildren, something that’s handmade is truly special.

The best Mother’s Day gift that I’ve ever received was a gorgeous silver picture frame with a photo of all of my grandchildren.  Years later, I still have it and every time that I look at it, I’m reminded of how proud they make me.

On Mother’s Day, we love to get together as a family to play games outdoors, such as capture the flag or touch football and beach volleyball.  While I don’t always play in the games, I’ve become a very good referee and part-time cheerleader.

My children and grandchildren asked me to design a sports’ watch they would be able to wear during physical activities and athletics.  I designed a sports watch for them and for you – my new Silicone Watch.

The hues in this watch are so gorgeous and the Silicone material is so comfortable and easy to wear.

I really love the vibrant colors and I think you will too. We have a crisp White, a sleek Black, a feminine Raspberry, a deep Purple, and a Royal Blue.

As the weather continues to get better, your calendar will surely be filled with more outdoor activities, sports, and outings.  With its durable, versatile build, this piece is perfect for all of those occasions, but will also look so good on your wrist that you won’t want to take it off. What types of outdoor activities will you be doing this season? I would love to hear all about them, tell me in the comments!

Mark your calendars for the launch of my new weekly show. Starting May 22nd, you can join me every Friday from 11am to 12pm.  Our debut show will be two hours and airs from 10am – 12pm.  See you soon!

With love, Judith
