Hi Everyone,

This is a very big week for me.  I am so excited to be heading back to QVC this weekend for two shows on September 7.  I’ll be with Jennifer at 4:00am and Antonella at 4:00pm, what fun! While we have all been crazy for Sleeping Beauty Turquoise this year, I am thrilled to celebrate some other luscious, magical gems on this visit.  Back in February, at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, I discovered the availability of the most awesome quality Charoite and Apatite, two gems I have always loved, but cannot always have!  I also fell in love with a new stone called Golden Sheen Obsidian.  Imagine dusting Black Obsidian with a fine golden powder, fabulous!  It’s taken us almost seven months to bring these new designs to QVC, and just in time for adding these saturated, rich gems to our fall wardrobes!

And speaking of TRUE GEMS…..I am about to step out on a 3Day 60 mile journey in the fight to end breast cancer with my great friend, 5 year breast cancer survivor, passionate mother and wife,  amazing QVC Host, and  recent Graduate Gemologist Nancy Hornback!  We will be participating in the Philadelphia 3Day beginning September 12th.  Nancy has lovingly created six t-shirts for us to wear with the name you all chose for our two-girl team, “Gemtastic Q-Ties”.  If you want Nancy and me to walk for someone touched by breast cancer, let me know! We'll write their first name on the back of our shirts that we'll wear during the Susan G. Komen 3-Day on September 12-14!  And if you’re in Philly, we’d love to see you at the cheering stations!
