Here’s another update from some of your favorite people from the Emerald Isle!

Hi, everyone!

It’s great to be able to share with you a picture from the lovely day we had on Saturday, November 9th, the day our new daughter Jeanne Elizabeth was christened! It was a beautiful autumn day, crisp and sunny out! Jeanne and her very proud big brother Hugh had a great day, lots of fun with all the family! Jeanne slept for most of the ceremony (which was great!)…her eyes flickered open briefly as if to ask the priest what he was doing when he poured the water on her little head! It was a wonderful day with all the family! Jeanne wore the christening gown that I wore myself for my christening! I have put it away carefully now in the hopes that one day her daughter will wear it too. It’s a family heirloom.

Have a wonderful day!

Well we know it’s time to start thinking about our favourite time of year again once we see the Christmas trees going up...that’s right, folks…St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! A bunch of us met for tea recently in one of Dublin's landmark hotels, right off the busy and bustling Grafton Street. It was lovely to catch up, as we haven't seen each other since we were all at QVC for the Rose of Tralee celebration in September. Present for the chat was John from Belleek, Sinead from Solvar, Barbara from Fragrances of Ireland, Stephen from Connemara Marble, and myself - Eve from JMH Jewellery. We all got our green thinking caps on and were starting to plan our next visit to QVC to see you guys. Less than 4 months to go!

I cannot believe that there’s only three weeks to go before Christmas. In our store in Rathfarnham Village, Dublin, we are all set for the busy Christmas season and have been stocking our shelves with Christmas gifts and putting Santa in the window.

Are you still Christmas shopping or have you finished already? Have you written your letter to Santa? I’m assuring him that I have been NICE all year long!! In Ireland we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, so we all look forward to Christmas time for family, friends and gift-giving. I would love to hear your Christmas gift ideas.

Until next time!
