How Moms Style our Steel by Design TSV

by on ‎06-24-2013 02:20 PM

I have a sweet spot for sentimental jewelry.  From family heirlooms to anything personalized, I love adding accessories to my look that have special meaning.  When I saw our Steel by Design TSV I didn’t know which initial to get – a “J” for me, an “M” for my husband or a “K” for my son.  Or maybe even all three for a fun arm party!  An arm party is a party on your arm where you layer lots of bracelets, mixing styles and textures, to create a whole new look.  Fun, right?  It’s a fairly new trend that I’m still getting the hang of but this Steel by Design bracelet is the perfect first invite for any arm party.

We asked a few moms (who also write fabulous blogs!) to style our TSV and share who they wear their bracelet for.  Prepare to be inspired!  From wearing it in honor of a child, family matriarch or to reflect personal style – each story is unique just like the bracelet.

Jill, Founder and Editor of Glamamom:

"J is my initial. It's fun to add a playful, personalized accessory to my outfits that still looks polished and sophisticated." - Jill

Stephanie, Founder and Editor of Latte and Legos:

"My Steel by Design bracelet is a reflection of me.  I wear to show my personal style since I have 2 boys.  I’m also giving a bracelet to my sister who just had her second baby girl.  I decided to get her an initial with her last name since she has 2 girls!" - Stephanie

Lauryn, Founder and Editor of The Vintage Mom:

"I wear a C on my Steel by Design Pave bracelet for my daughter.  It is a reminder to me every day to lead by example making sure that I do as I say and show her how to treat herself and others with respect." - Lauryn

Colleen, Founder and Editor of Classy Mommy:

"I love to wear this in tribute to both Kenzie and Kyle since K is their 1st initial. I especially love that it reminds me of my kids when I'm out of town traveling on business.  Plus, K is an important letter in our family.  Both Kenzie and I have the middle name Kay - letter and name are the same Smiley Happy in honor of my Great Aunt Kay who is the matriarch of our family and turned 96 this week. She's an extraordinary individual that I've looked up to and been inspired by my entire life. So I love all the meanings of K in my life. One letter can mean so much! Beautiful memento." - Colleen

We want to know!  Who would you wear this bracelet for?
