I love the look on my little boy's face when he comes down Christmas morning. I don't think I could ever get tired of that. He's what brings me Joy.
I have several pearl necklaces but the one I treasure the most, the one that brings me joy is a small baroque pearl pendant set with three tiny diamonds that I've had ever since I can remember and which once belonged to my beloved aunt.
Like Jack Benny, I'm 39 and holding ;)
I have many 'most memorable,' so it's difficult to choose just one ... the bracelet I inherited from my grandmother? the pearl stud earrings that were a graduation gift?
When I was 16, my dad gave me a 14k/Akoya pearl ring as a birthday gift. Very pretty -- the pearl sits surrounded by gold 'coral' -- but I didn't wear it very much at the time. My dad passed away many years ago, and that ring is very special to me.
Joel and Ralph, thank you for bringing affordable, pretty pearls to QVC!
"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." ~ Robert Brault
I was never a pearl person till Honora, I hated that they were all the same size and I didn't really care for the color, kind of boring I thought.
When I got my first necklace (years ago) I was hooked! The glow that comes with a Honora pearl sets me aglow! The rich luminescence makes me feel so good, and I glow along with the pearls. My first necklace was small pearls linked with sterling, 18 inch. I think I wore that everyday for years! Now I have graduated to bigger pearls and I love the colored ones. I think my favorite necklace is an 18 inch multi color and multi size in colors of turquoise, teal and lavender. This necklace has been worn about a million times and is truly my favorite. I love it so much I have gifted several of the same! : - )
It's hard to say which changed my life as when I became aware of Joel I bought so much and also received so many birthdays and Christmas gifts of the beautiful pearls. But everytime I open the box, it takes my breath away with the beauty!
Thanks Joel, you have made me a true pearl addict! Thanks for giving me a jewery passion and a wonderful collection!
"joy to the pearl"......for me refers to pearls that have been cherished and admired and worn by women for centuries...It is classic and never goes out of style !!!!!!!!!!!!I have pearl earrings(multiples) that my mother gave me ...she is almost 100 years old.....
My oldest son is a June baby, so I became a collector of pearls after his birth. My most favorite pearl gift was from my husband that year. I was given a little 14K gold pendant shaped like a baby and his little diaper was a pearl. It was very meaningful to me. I felt like I had a little piece of my son with me when I wore it.
"Joy to the pearl" is the feeling when I wear a honora pearl earring, necklace, or bracelet.
Pearls, like diamonds have a celebratory aspect that transforms the most ordinary day into the best.
I think my most memorable pearls are the ones I bought in your store in NYC. A simply amazing long strand of white baroque coin pearls, they made such an impression on me, the luster was, and is, to die for beautiful! My girlfriend was looking at them and I fell instantly in lust with them! She was thinking about cutting them down to a shorter length, I told her I would kill her if she did, lol! Needles to say I went home home with them. I adore them, wearinging them long, doubled, and even tripled, thank goodness for the clasp! I love playing among all your pearls both at your store in in my own home.
My love of pearls go back to my first string of pearls when I was a young girl. They brought me great joy as I grew up thinking of the giver,'Mom Frieday', who was like a grandmother to my sisters and me. This strand was my only one for years until Honora started bringing affordable pearls to QVC. Now I have so many of their pearls to bring me joy in every setting. My daughter wore one of the first sets that I bought for her wedding which was the ultimate joy for her and me! Thank you, Honora, for bringing us such beautiful as well as affordable pearls!
Giving to others, period. I have asked for nothing but donations for personally important charities since I was in my teens. I don't need anything more for the world to be a better place.
My first pearl (a solitaire pendant) was given to me by my dad when I was 12. He said, "The ladies in our family always wear pearls." And if my mom or I lost our pendant due to swimming or otherwise....dad would come home with another. He only had to replace mine once, and I still have it.
As a "June baby" I've had a lifelong love affair with pearls. My first pearl necklace was an add-a-pearl necklace I received at age four when I was a flower girl in my uncle's wedding. My husband buys me Honora pearls because he sees how my eyes lighht up when I look at them. He says he always wants to see my eyes shine the way they do when I'm wearing Honora pearls ... What a guy! :) I love seeing the look of satisfaction in his eyes when someone compliments me on my Honora pearls and he can say that he bought them for me! Honora has been responsible for a lot of "romantic moments" in our marriage!
I have several sets of pearls, including favorite Honora strands. My favorites, though, are the pearls given to me by my late husband to wear on my wedding day. Those are treasured and will be passed down to my daughter some day.

My most memorable Pearl. Oh so many. But the one I treasure the most is I purchsed Honora 11mm Pearl earrings and gave it last Christmas to the birth of my girlfriends baby girl. She was so excited she put them in her new born daughters hope chest so when she is old enough to wear them they will be her very first pearl earrings. I will always treasure that moment.
I got a pair of pearl earrings a long time ago, but they sat in my jewelry box. Then I discovered Honora, and I have been on a pearl journey ever since! The Bible compares the kingdom of heaven to a pearl of great price, how a man sold all that he had to buy it. That's why I am joyful that Honora and QVC have made it possible for people from all walks of life to own pearls that are radiant and gorgeous. When I put on my Honora pearls, I feel like the luster around my neck lights up my face. Honora and QVC have made it possible to own some remarkable pearls and some of them I got on Easy Pay! I sing a song of joy to the pearl!
"Joy" is what I feel when wearing my pearls. It makes me feel special and put together, even when casually dressed.
Like many others, I didn't wear pearls for years, although my mother adored them. Once I saw what Honora could do with pearls, though, I got hooked. Now I have many, many strands of Honora and Barbara Bixby pearl necklaces, and many, many earrings as well. It's very hard for me to pick the most special items, it's a tie between a necklace I inherited from my mother, a triple strand of graduated white pearls, and a necklace my husband bought for me several years ago, a strand of cranberry-dyed keshi pearls strung with garnets, small round white pearls, and gold beads. It is truly spectacular, especially at the holidays, but sentimentally, that strand of tiny little white pearls (the largest pearl in the center of each strand probably doesn't top 6mm) brings a tear to my eye as well as a smile to my face every time I look at it, remembering my Mom wearing it.
I love pearls because they're beautiful and my birthstone. The pearl necklace I wore at my wedding is the most memorable!
Joy to the Pearl signifies to me the happy way you feel when you wear them. When I wear pearls I feel so elegant and like a Lady. The most memorable pearl jewelry I got was a pearl solitaire with Diamond accent necklace for my birthday.
I own several Honora pearls but the most important pearls to me are the ones that make the set of white earrings, necklace and bracelet my aunt gave me several years ago at Christmas. I love these pearls because to me they represents, not only a fashion statement, but a gift from the heart that I will cherish my whole life. I plan to wear them on my wedding day (hopefully in the near future, lol) as a representation of family unity and love. Family unity and love, important aspects I learned from my aunt, will be the pillars of my marriage in the future. Thoughts like these bring joy to my life, along with my Honora pearls!
QVC and the Honora team, Thank you for bringing joy to our lives through Honora pearls!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

I buy some jewelry because I love it and I also buy it to mark special occasions. I didn't go to college after high school and I always felt that I missed out on not getting a degree. Going to night school at one or two classes at a time, takes many more years that going as a traditional student. It took me about 10 years to get my Bacholer degree and I celebrated that with a beautiful pair of Honora pearl earrings. I wear them quite often and everytime I put them on, I smile because they remind me of my hard-earned accomplishment!
First of all i must say , I just love pearls, its the only gem that men dont wear, Its all ours ! I passed this love onto my daughter and never really realized it , until before she got married. As we were planning her wedding she confided in me that she would so love to have a special pearl necklace to wear for her wedding. I was so surprised and she knew exactly which one she wanted. I couldnt afford the ones that she wanted . But i worked alot of overtime time to get her these pearls and surprised her with them at her Bridal shower. When she opened them up she just cryed and came over to me and cryed in my arms. It was worth it all seeing her walk down the Isle with her dream pearls
My first memory of jewelry was my mother's pearl strand. She adored pearls. I recently inherited this strand, and it reminds me of the wonderful times we had together. I have acquired my own collection of pearls along the years, and my granddaughter will inherit this strand of pearls along with my own contribution. For me, the joy of the pearl is the love with which they are worn.
