Fall, the Season of Friendship!

Fall has forever been my favorite season.  My Mom was always perplexed when I would tell her that.  After all, it meant Minnesota winter was right around the corner!  But to me, fall meant looking forward to seeing all of my friends at school, the beginning of tennis season, Friday night football games, bonfires, and of course, layers of rich warm colors of fall fashion!  As it turns out, fall still brings joy to me for so many of the same reasons.

Friendship remains my number one fall celebration, and this 2012 fall season has already warmed my soul like a wool blanket wrapped around my shoulders on a moonlit horse and buggy ride.  September started out with a fabulous celebration of friendship and jewelry at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Texas, where many of you joined me for laughter, shopping, eating, trivia, prizes, and design chat!  I truly cherish your friendship, and it is such a joy to bring you together to meet new friends!  My dream came true when I was introduced to so many special new friends, who came to know Carolyn Pollack Jewelry from their best friends.  It was wonderful to see friends traveling from across the country to reunite with those who they discovered through QVC and Carolyn Pollack Jewelry on Facebook.  And to add a sparkle to the sadness of saying our goodbyes, we all looked forward to gathering again soon.  I can promise you that I began planning our next gathering as soon as I boarded the plane from Dallas to Albuquerque!!!  I’ll keep you posted on the plans for February 2013!

Awaken Your Sleeping Beauty Sweepstakes winner Cheryl Boyd and her daughter Lauren from Winston-Salem, NC.  Cheryl was introduced to my  designs by her 92 year old mother.  They had a wonderful, relaxing weekend (jewelry shopping and a visit to the spa!).

Just a few days after returning home, I was overwhelmed by the fact we had reached the 100,000 Facebook fan milestone!!!  I love knowing that together we have created a place to gather that is positive, fun, uplifting, active, and interactive.  I want to thank all of you who gather there to share your enthusiasm, concerns, ideas, and most importantly, your positive spirit of friendship!  I am honored that you take time out of your busy lives to share your thoughts with all of us at Carolyn Pollack Jewelry, and our greater, FABULOUS Carolyn Pollack Jewelry Facebook community.

I will be posting some highlights from our Gaylord Texan event on Facebook over the weekend, as well as some of the behind the scenes preparations happening for this week's celebration of friendship!!!  I will be spending 6 hours with the lovely and loveable Antonella Nester and 2 hours with the charming Dave James this weekend.  Of course, no party is complete without you!  I hope you will join us Friday, September 21st, from 9 - 11pm, Saturday, September 22nd, from 2 - 4pm, and Monday, September 24th from 1 - 3am and again at 1 - 3pm.

I can hardly wait to premiere over two dozen new items, including two new collections that caused quite the buzz at our party in Texas!  I look forward to gathering with all of you this weekend on QVC!

Truly yours,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, I have had a beautiful Turquoise pendant of yours that I have worn for the last few years. The other I went to wear it (I wear it about 2 times a week to work) and one of my stones was missing. Is there a way that I can get this repaired by your team. Please let me know how to go about doing that. I love all of your jewelry soooo much. I have a ton of it and get compliments daily. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide on getting this one precious piece fixed.

I have watched off and on for a few minutes tonight but have grandson spending the night so busy but I know all the jewelry will be lovely. It always is. I am just hoping I won't like anything HAHAHA, like there is a chance, I just buy way too much but the quality is great, beautiful pieces and made in the USA, so what more could you want.

Actually I do want more, I mentioned in another reply that I wear mostly hoops, and I am begging you to make a white agate hoop, actually like the changing seasons hoop would be just gorgeous, also in utah variscite , even if a little smaller but no smaller than 1 1/4. I do have a pair of silver hoops rodeo I think but they are somewhat small however they do have some width so that is good.

Thanks for all the beauty you bring with CP and also the Southwestern, I have several new pieces from that line as well. Again made in the USA is the BEST!!!!

God Bless America

Janice , in SC

Hello Carolyn.

I was wondering why you don't have half sizes in your beautiful rings. I want to get some of your rings but you start your size in a 6 and it is too large for me and I have to get out the first aid tape and start wrapping it around the bottom of the ring to make a 6 become a 5-1/2 or a 5. Please start with size 5 and offer half sizes. There are thousands of us out here wirh small narrow fingers . And there are a lot of rings that just can't be sized, so we all have to do without.

A jewelry idea. What do you think about makig a key necklace? The key could be done in silver but with turqouise stones here and there. Be on a variety of chains. Personally I look for a 15" chain length as I like choker necklaces and then the pendant sits right up high just under the collarbone.

Carolyn and all the "sisters" - I am a newer collector, about 18 months now, and already have several beautiful pieces. I have never, ever been disappointed with any of the CP jewelry that I have received. I enjoy mixing and matching all of the pieces and wear it all with pride. However, on your last "mini-series", there was a situation that I found quite disturbing. In July, I was one of the lucky 8000 people to purchase the magnificent sleeping beauty TSV necklace and enhancer set. It is quite stunning, even more so in person. I knew as soon as I saw it on TV that I wanted it, and since we were told that it would NEVER AGAIN be produced beyond the 8000 pieces that were being offered that day, my darling hubby and I discussed the considersble (for us) purchase and decided to go for it. Imagine our surprise on Monday afternoon (Sept. 24) as we sat watching QVC and saw Carolyn and Antonella offering an additional quantity of these supposedly limited, never-again-to-be-produced princess necklaces??? Who can I no longer trust? Carolyn? QVC? Antonella? I called in to customer service and was told that since the demand for this piece was so high, that Carolyn went back to the supplier and obtained enough SB turquoise for appx. 150 more necklaces. OK, but couldn't that have at least been addressed on the air?

This certainly will not stop me from purchasing my beloved CP jewelry. In fact, I purchased at least one piece in each show except the 1am show (but these will be stowed away until my November birthday and Christmas !!) I just felt somewhat betrayed. Anyone else feel like this ??
