Hello friends - I am excited to finally join the world of bloggers, and just in time to announce my upcoming show, this Saturday, June 13 at 6PM EST. Lisa Robertson and I have been looking forward to this show for weeks, because after a decade of trying, I have finally convinced QVC to let me have a show where every piece is a new, never before seen style. This is history in the making!

So, to celebrate, last night, my husband and I went out to dinner with my youngest son Brian and his wife, Alison. Alison flipped over the long turquoise station chain necklace I was wearing. She called it her “summer must-have,” and said it is the perfect necklace to wear long, short or layered with her other “Ripka” favorites. I have always felt that turquoise jewelry goes hand-in-hand with summer (kind of like cool blue ocean!) - it feels fresh and bright and adds a punch of color. It was really fun to design the turquoise station chain necklace, because I knew I wanted the look and feel of the piece to be playful, and I think that is what I achieved. I am eager to hear your feedback. I am also looking forward to sharing my new Floral Collection with all of you. I love incorporating floral design elements into my jewelry, as nature serves as one of my greatest inspirations. As the weather gets warm, I try to spend as much time as possible in my flower gardens, which are my escape from busy life in the city. This summer, fashion is all about romance and femininity and what better way to complement that trend than with a classic, chic floral design.

After dinner, Ron and I headed home, so that I could start packing for this weekend's trip to West Chester, PA. After over a decade of making QVC my home away from home, I have packing down to a science, and the first thing I put in my bag is a stack of magazines. I know I speak for most women when I say what a treat it is to have a couple quiet moments to escape into the pages of your favorite magazine. I am particularly excited to read the June issue of Harper's Bazaar with Sandra Bullock on the cover. The publisher of Harpers's Bazaar stopped by my office and told me that three of my 18k Couture Aurora Cuffs are featured on page 28 and my Black Onyx Disc Pendant and Jubilee Necklace are featured on page 78. The cuffs that are featured in Bazaar have the same feel as the Champagne Quartz Cuff that will be on my show this Saturday - big and bold, focusing on the gemstones. Also, if you are like me and are really backed up on your magazine reading, make sure to log onto my web site to learn about my charity partnership with Dress for Success which was featured in the May issue of InStyle magazine. Happy shopping, ladies!

So, back to packing and make sure to tune in Saturday, June 13 at 6PM EST. If all of you are responsive to this new show format, then we'll have a chance to do it again! Until Saturday, Judith
