It’s hard to imagine we are entering into the holiday season already, and that November 15th is my last Carolyn Pollack Sterling Jewelry event of 2012!! I want to thank you all for a wonderful year. It has been so much fun gathering together during our shows, communicating through Facebook, and even meeting up in person for a fun-filled weekend in Texas!
It's heartwarming to know that many of you have formed great friendships through jewelry. You’ve shared your ideas around how you make CP jewelry your own; how you mix, match, and layer pie... Continue Reading

Estate Jewelry is loosely defined as any previously owned jewelry that features fine workmanship and high quality stones, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces. An expert in the field goes on to say “Because there is a limited supply and it’s usually irreplaceable, (high-end) estate jewelry is often called the 'caviar of the jewelry business'”.
We have partnered with one of the foremost experts in the Estate Jewelry world, Simon Rarities of New York, to bring you a select group of jewelry that truly shows the beauty and expertise of jewelers throughout the years. Every... Continue Reading

I want to start this blog by thanking each and every one that attended Ripkanista luncheon. Allison, Brian, and Beth told me what a wonderful afternoon it was. I wish I could have been there – what is better than good friends, good food, good laughs, and talking about jewelry!
As I was looking through all of the pictures, I was smiling. It makes me so happy to know that so many women are enjoying the jewelry. I love seeing all of you wear it every day and for every occassion. When I first started designing, my dream was to create wearab... Continue Reading

Is it really that time again? Holidays? Do you feel the same? Can someone tell me where the year went? For many, like me, the wonder of the holidays means spending lots of time wondering what to get people on your gift list. Well this year, I’m determined to get a head start and turn that “wonder-time” into true holiday wonder and maybe some peace of mind. So like a kid in search of holiday candy I peeked at some of the things that the QVC buyers have in store. I found great gift ideas and was pleased to see that even at the holidays, good things still come in three’s; ... Continue Reading

One of the greatest opportunities I've had with QVC is being able to do the "Live From Vicenza" remotes from Italy for the past 15 years. Did I ever tell you how I lucked in to that? I'd only been with QVC for a couple years (and was very new by the company's standards) when QVC decided to try this new concept of doing a show live from Italy. They had no idea if it would be successful or not, as they had no history with international remotes. But the green light was given and the gold merchandising team knew exactly which host they wanted for the show, as she... Continue Reading

The fall season has just arrived and I can’t wait to wear my favorite autumn colors. The color trends for this season include deep, rich warm and cool hues that can still make a statement even while bundled up in the crisp weather. Colors seen on the fashion runways for fall included yellow, orange, purple, blue and pink to name a few.
Check out some of my favorite fall must have rings below from the Love, Erica collection. Each ring has a stunning colored gemstone to inspire your fall wardrobe, with an intricate and feminine design on every setting.

Fine Italian craftsmanship, elegant design, passion and pride—this pendant has it ALL! On one side, you see the high-end look of drusy quartz, and on the other side, you’re treated to a vision of AAA-quality labradorite. We basically get two necklaces for the price of one. Now that's a great value! This piece truly has it all—I'm loving the rich, swirling gold, I'm mesmerized by the dreamy look of the labradorite, and I'm dazzled by the drusy quartz.

It has been over 2 weeks since I arrived in the United States. I spent this time with my family in New York, celebrating the Jewish holidays, and in between, had some great shows on QVC. It is amazing how time flies by so fast... but we did take the opportunity to tour Washington DC, Hershey Park, Amish Country, and enjoyed all the great things that New York City has to offer.

Hello friends –
I would normally wait to blog until closer to my QVC appearance, but I wanted to say hello to all of you.
I have been reading the QVC forum, in which there has been much speculation about my health, which is excellent, and my business, which is great. Thank you so much for your concern. It means so much to me to have loyal and loving fans like you. As much as I can tell, the buzz started when QVC rescheduled my show, but instead of posting it as “rescheduled,” it was first posted as a cancellation.
That being said, all is well, and I have ... Continue Reading

We’re so excited to be back on QVC just over a month after our last visit! Have you noticed how American West style seems to be popping up all over the place right now? During New York Fashion Week, we saw one top American designer pair the romance of Spanish style with bright Southwestern colors and top it off with the intricate Western style details that we love so much. And equestrian influences are everywhere! Fashion magazines have embraced this as a top trend for fall and winter, but our collectors have known all along that nothing beats the styles of the We... Two of my favorite gemstones will be featured next week. They each have unique properties and fascinating stories. Did you know that Alexandrite was named after Czar Alexander II of Russia because it was discovered on his birthday in 1839 or that sapphires are believed to symbolize prosperity and be a charm against “unchastity”?
Alexandrite has always been one of those mysterious and unattainable stones to me. During my training at the Gemological Institute of America, I remember the discussions about how rare it was and almost impossible to find. The examp... Continue Reading

I can’t believe that Summer is over!! I do admit, however, that Fall is my favorite season. I love the changing colors and crisp air. There is something very nostalgic about the Fall for me. When someone thinks about pearls, it's hard not to see a traditional white strand that is often at being worn at a family obligation. We love turning that idea on its head. We want pearls, and women who wear them, to have fun. We want you to find the unexpected in what was once conventional.
