Introducing our new Croco Collection…

Hello my friends,

It’s finally here.  After a sneak peek during the LIVE from the Red Carpet show, JAI John Hardy’s first figurative collection will make its debut next Tuesday, March 11th, during 3 hours of amazing new designs.  Since the day we launched JAI John Hardy, the exclusive John hardy Collection here on QVC, I have been asked countless times, ‘When are you going to launch a figurative collection?’

When it came time to launch our first figurative collection for JAI, we wanted to make sure we brought you a collection that had unsurpassed craftsmanship, feminine sophistication, with both a universal meaning and timeless appeal.  After months of collaborations with our JAI team, it is with great pride that I introduce our new Croco Collection.

While exploring a distant village in Northern Thailand, I learned of the Makara, a sea-creature in Hindu mythology.  Later that year, I discovered some breath-taking ruins and temples throughout Thailand that had various depictions of figurative crocodiles in both the architectural designs of the ancient temples and also in the local textiles.  These local discoveries inspired me to dive into the countless legends of the crocodile that can be found throughout history.  My research soon confirmed that the Croco should be our first figurative collection.

Around the world, crocodiles are known as the keeper of knowledge, a symbol of maternal protection, one of the wisest animals to roam the earth with a clairvoyant ability to create balance and harmony in life.  They are survivors who have been around since time has been kept.  The Egyptians adorned them with gold and jewels.  Pharaohs were buried alongside mummified crocodiles for protection with the hope to have the wisdom of the crocodiles in their next lifetime.  Legend states that if you are looking for protection, balance in your life, or have unanswered questions, all one must do is seek the guidance of the crocodile.

Our team of dedicated JAI craftsmen created the perfect design that embodies this wonderful inspiration.  They worked tirelessly to create a feminine romantic figurative design, reminiscent of the elegance from years past.  Soon they perfected a texturized crocodile motif that bore the story of the legend in our new signature Croco pattern.  These new Croco designs embody all that JAI stands for:  superb craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a respect for the cultures and traditions we encounter.

Please join me on Tuesday, March 11th at 1am ET with Gabrielle Kerr and then again at 7pm ET with Jill Bauer as we introduce our new Croco Collection along with beautiful new designs from our gorgeous two tone Sukhothai Collection.

Join me for the stories and fall in love with the designs.  Please take a moment to enjoy more behind the scenes from my travels at our JAI Jewelry Facebook page and our JAIjewelry_ instagram account.

Safe Travels,

Scott
