Greetings,

I hope this finds everyone happy, healthy, and in the holiday spirit.  You may have noticed in the short time I have been on the Q, that I like to live life to the fullest.  Each day is to be celebrated, for it is a gift, each person is to be loved, for they are a blessing, and each moment is to be lived, for it is precious and will never be repeated.  I try to be present in each moment, for moments are what create a lifetime.  Yet, there is something extra special about the holiday season.

Everyone seems to have an extra little kick in their step, people smile a little more, give thanks more often, they tend to forgive others and themselves a little easier, and quite often present themselves as the best they can be… this is what brings joy to me during the holidays.

I spent last week picking out the Christmas trees for my family’s house and my parent’s home.  I love decorating my parent’s tree.  Each ornament has a meaning and a memory.  Most of them are homemade, most have photos, and many are of us from when we were kids on Santa’s lap.  It truly is a tree full of great memories.
