Estate Jewelry Treasures

Estate Jewelry is loosely defined as any previously owned jewelry that features fine workmanship and high quality stones, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces.  An expert in the field goes on to say “Because there is a limited supply and it’s usually irreplaceable, (high-end) estate jewelry is often called the 'caviar of the jewelry business'”.

We have partnered with one of the foremost experts in the Estate Jewelry world, Simon Rarities of New York, to bring you a select group of jewelry that truly shows the beauty and expertise of jewelers throughout the years.  Every piece is a unique work of art that features fine craftsmanship and fabulous gemstones.  We have included spectacular pieces from such notable names as Cartier and Tiffany.  Our Collection includes pieces in 14k & 18k gold, platinum, fine gemstones, and much more.  Jewelry ranges from the whimsical as in the fun 14k gold Poodle Pin or 18K gold KittyPin with rubies and diamonds, from the 1950’s to the exquisite 18k gold Bow Pin with over 9 carats of diamonds, the 1920’s to the luscious Diamond and Tanzanite Earrings from Tiffany and Company. One of my favorite pieces contains an Imperial Topaz weighing approximately 8.40 carats.  A gemstone like this is virtually impossible to find today in this size and purity of color.

I will search for those special pieces.

BLB, Thanks for the kind words.  The family factory that produces the Fondente Artisan Crafted Product is so small that they do not have the infrastructure to expert to the US.  Milor handles this for them and only adds in a very small handling fee.  We still work directly with the family producing the jewelry and I will ask them to start signing it.  It makes more sense for the artisan to sign it than the exporter.  Please send me any photos of collars that you like.  I can work with the artisans to produce their version.

KBSINGSBARI, I am so happy that you bought the Navaratna Ring.  It is truly special.  Navaratna is Sanskrit for 9 planets and is considered sacred and royal.    In Thailand it is the National and Royal symbol of the King.  It represents the sun, moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and the ascending & descending moon.  It is believed to include all the Zodiac signs and to counteract any negative energy from specific planets.  The stones include ruby, emerald, yellow sapphire, garnet, blue sapphire, moonstone, blue zircon, cat’s-eye Chrysoberyl, and diamond.  The diamond is in the center and represents the sun which is considered to be the life force.

AECMOM, Thanks for the great comments and I am so glad you were able to get the ring.   I love these premier gemstones and this special london blue topaz and chrome Diopside are magical together.  Happy holidays to you and your family.

Take care, Peyton
