Whales, Bears, and Artisan-Crafted Jewelry!

It is sweltering here in West Chester, PA and I hope it is cooler where you are.  My brother, sisters, and I just took my 88-year-old Mother whale watching in Cape Cod.  Not only did we see over 30 whales but stood at the back of the boat while a giant humpback whale put on quite a show.  She swam back and forth under the boat over and over again for about 10 minutes jumping up on each side of the boat and showing off.  The crew said they had never seen anything like it before!

There was even more excitement generated by several sightings of a brown bear on the streets of Provincetown.  We looked everywhere but never did see him.  Thankfully, he was safely captured and returned to the mountains inland.

Anyway, next week we are having a Global Artisan-Crafted Silver Jewelry event.  Christy and team are really bringing you a selection from around the world that is simply stunning.  Dominique Dinouart has a new collection of “Crinkle” silver jewelry that is spectacular.  The cuff and collar are amazing works of art and showase the finest craftsmanship possible from Taxco.

Dominique has also designed a beautiful pendant in a choice of blue or pink Chalcedony.  This is her first time using this stone and the pendant comes with a collar.

The beautiful and colorful Suarti will be back with her Padi chain and bracelet as well as a new hoop earring in a choice of Lapis, Onyx, or Carnelian.  I hope she will dance for us again!  I will also be part of the Indonesia show with a new Abalone ring and one of my all-time favorite pieces, the Abalone and Mabe Pearl Cross.  This will be the last showing of this cross and we can never order it again.  In the 1:00AM show I will also have an adorable carved green Quartzite lily pad earring that a dragonfly has just landed on.

There will be a spectacular finale with an all limited edition, all new selection of jewelry from around the world.  A charm necklace that contains a Jadeite Plaque carved over 150 years ago in the shape of a blessing is a true treasure.  We were able to obtain a very limited amount of the fine milky aqua beads and the artisans have produced a beautiful bracelet.  We will introduce Guatemalan Jade for the first time and our first ever Rubellite artisan-crafted ring.  Other highlights include an enormous QVC AAA Quality Labradorite pendant while another has a deep, rich purple 16 carat amethyst.  The artisans from around the world have really outdone themselves!

Please tune in and call and say hello!

Qmein, I reached out to David, our gold buyer, and he said:  “WOW – I do not think so... It would not be possible in this volatile gold market.  It’s been over 15 years since we did the last one.  Hopefully one day!”

Star826, I haven’t forgotten you.  I have reached out to several people for answers and am still trying to figure it out.

Take care,

Peyton
