Shhhh...I should not tell, but I will...

One of the hardest parts about designing new jewelry for QVC is keeping it a secret until I go on air.  Each new piece takes at least 6 months to create from my first sketch to the moment I share it with all of you on TV.  It is a true labor of love in which I develop many samples and play around with different textures and gemstones with each design and silhouette.  Often times, I will "test drive" a piece and wear it around town to see if any of my friends take notice.  If a piece becomes the topic of a lunch time conversation and gets passed around the table at Fred's, then I know I have a winner!

Please know how greatly I appreciate your feedback and support.  Each and every one of you inspire me to keep designing, and I feel so much joy and happiness with each new piece of jewelry that I create for you.  During my anniversary shows last month, I was very moved by so many of your heartfelt calls and was pleased to see such positive feedback about my Estate Cuff TSV.  I still have to pinch myself when a TSV sells out.  It is always my hope that many women will love my designs, so to have a sell out TSV is a dream come true.

So what's next, you ask?  I should not tell, but I will - I just can't help myself! Two of my favorite new April items are part of the Limited Edition QVC Smithsonian Collection, J269026, a QVC Smithsonian Flower Ring, and J269027, QVC Smithsonian Flower Earrings.

When QVC asked me to design pieces for the Smithsonian Collection this year, I wanted the significance to be linked back to one of the things I love best about Washington D.C., the Cherry Blossom Festival.  Therefore, these cherry blossom flower designs honor this beautiful season and occasion.  What also makes these pieces so special, and because you have been asking me for more real gemstones, is that I have added a champagne diamond in the center with white topaz trim, instead of Diamonique.  The incorporation of these real gemstones combined with the inspiration and story behind these pieces, and unparalleled craftsmanship (it took 45 minutes to custom-cut each gemstone), make these pieces even more unique and valuable, and very worthy of the Smithsonian Institution.

Speaking of the Smithsonian, for those of you who remember the exclusive design I created for the QVC Smithsonian Collection last year, which you fondly named “Big Blue” (J153711), I am happy to share with you that there are still a few available to purchase, but if you want it, I would run, not walk to purchase it, because QVC will be retiring it soon and it is a last call.

April will be a very busy month for me.  In addition to my debuting my new QVC Smithsonian Collection pieces on April 19 from 7pm to 9pm EST, I will start the day with some of my signature Diamonique favorites from 1pm to 3pm EST during the April Diamonique show.  As we all know, “diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” so I am very much looking forward to these 2 hours dedicated to the brilliance of Diamonique.  Then, I'm looking forward to April 26 from 3pm to 5pm EST when my gorgeous daughter-in-law Allison will be back on air to debut my two other new favorites which are my natural emerald pieces, J266988, my Sterling Natural Emerald Ring, and J266989, my Sterling Natural Emerald Earrings.  I have always had a special place in my heart for Emeralds, because they remind me of the original engagement ring that Ron gave me when he proposed, which was a diamond flanked with Emeralds on either side.  Although I love all gemstones, Emeralds will always have a special place in my heart because of this original engagement ring, which Ron designed for me.  I'm not the only jewelry designer in the family!  Thank you, Allison, for going on air for me to debut such special pieces.

What can I say - Spring is officially here, and I'm ready for everything new and fresh.  Are you?  Tune in times are April 19 from 1pm to 3pm EST for the April Diamonique Show, April 19 from 7pm to 9pm EST for the Smithsonian Show, in which I will debut my new Cherry Blossom pieces, and April 26 from 3pm to 5pm EST with Allison.

See you soon!

With much love and appreciation,

Judith
