The Right Accessories Really Finish A Look!

Hi, Kids!


I’m thrilled to be back on my blog talking about two HUGE parts of my life that have intersected – QVC and Project Runway! This season was so much fun to tape – we had AMAZINGLY talented designers, fabulous guest judges (HELLO, LISA ROBERTSON!), and, of course, that cute, cute, cute QVC accessory wall. MAJOR. I have to say, accessories really make or break these designer's creations. The right accessories really finish a look. You'll notice that Georgina and I really comment quite a bit about the accessories. It speaks to the designer's overall taste, and we keep that in mind throughout the season.



I have to be honest with you, girls. After three seasons, it isn't any easier to send someone home. These designers work so hard staying up all night slaving away at their garments, and the thought of just dismissing them is DREADFUL. I really try to encourage these designers, not bring them down. I'll point out something I love and tell them to do more of that, instead of saying how much I hate everything else.
