Hey, Gardening Fans and Friends!!

I hope by now your flowers, plants and patio-scapes are looking beautiful!!

It seems, with all the rain we have had here in PA, that my garden has simply EXPLODED in the past couple of weeks!! We were on vacation the first part of June, and when we came back home, everything seemed TWICE as big as when we left. I said "so long" to the pansies and peonies and lilacs, but have been happy to welcome the roses, lilies, butterfly bush blooms, and hydrangeas!! The climbing roses have practically hidden their arbors and the ground cover has started spreading out nicely over the mulch and through the cracks inbetween the stepping stones. My baby hibiscus trees and angel trumpet trees have already been showing off their blooms and the exotic grasses are catching up quickly with the rest of the garden!!

We also had some hardscaping done in the backyard, creating a lovely paver wall to surround our planted areas that surround the deck and doggie play yard. (The dogs have a new place to play that is awesome and no more digging in mama's flower gardens!)  I am getting ready to add more annuals to my containers on the front and back porches this weekend, and have already picked up a few red, white and blue pinwheels and flags to stick in all the pots for the 4th of July!

I want to send out a huge thanks to both Phillip AND Eric Wallien of Robertas for contributing to our Garden Video Blog this season and I know we all look forward to more excellent tips and advice next season from these wonderful experts! Meanwhile, don't forget, QVC's garden department continues to offer great items for your garden, plant care, and outdoor living spaces throughout the summer season! You can check for these on QVC.com and of course, many of my favorites are listed on theGarden Party Page. Watch here, as well, for at least one new Garden Blog per month...some that will simply be filled with more of my personal garden photos from this summer. (My husband has a new camera ...so look out!!) LOL

Keep pulling those weeds here and there, keep up the watering (when mother nature is not taking care of it with lots of rain!) and give those plants some fertilizer every couple of weeks, throughout the summer. Your garden will soon be spectacular, if it isn't already!  It's July and time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor and the beauty of your garden.

Till next time,

Happy Gardening!!
