Garden Greetings!!

A belated Happy Mother's Day to all !! We had a lovely weekend here in eastern PA for Mother's Day this year, and as I wandered about my garden (mainly pulling any sneaky weeds who dared to appear after the rainstorm the day before), I noticed how many roses are already blooming!! I'm not sure if it's because I waited till a bit later to prune them this year, or because of the Cottage Farms Rose Booster (which they love), but they have already had a huge growth spurt this Spring and it's not even June yet! I went and grabbed my camera to share a few photos with you here in today's blog posting.

I'm thrilled to have some roses out already, even before the peonies, and just as the dogwood and pear tree blooms are turning to green leaves. The lilacs are adding an incredible fragrance to my garden pathways as well and are so lovely in shades ranging from white to lavendar to rich purple.

As always, at this time of the year, I am reminded, a bit sadly, that as my garden begins to show signs changing from Spring to early Summer, it means we are nearing the end of Gardening Season at QVC for another year. Next week, will be the Finale of Garden Party with Carolyn for the season, on Tuesday, May 21st at 9am. We will have a great mix of products to wrap up the season for both your patio AND garden ! We'll feature items that will make your OWN garden parties and get togethers the BEST ever, all summer long! You'll still have time to get it there by the end of May....AND we'll also have some great ideas for Father's Day as well. Smiley Happy

A quick reminder that all of our LIVE PLANTS are now offically LAST CHANCE on QVC.com. You will not find any live plants on our website after the end of MAY, so if you are still in need of some beautiful flowers and plants for your garden, with plenty of time to grow this season, be sure and check out the Last Chance offers on Live Plants from Roberta's, Cottage Farms and Gardens Alive on our website! I just discovered some beautiful rose shrubs in lots of different colors from Gardens Alive, which I promptly ordered, to plant around the sides of my garden shed. Yes, I can always find a spot for MORE ROSES!!

Also, don't forget to click here to see THIS week's latest video blog with another wonderful gardening tip from my buddy Phillip Watson of Cottage Farms.

Phillip has already been busy designing gardens for some of his Connecticut clients the past couple  of weeks...but you can see and hear his gardening tips as often as you like, here within my garden blogs, as well as the earlier tips from Eric Wallien of Roberta's. Just scroll through my various garden blogs from this season to find all the video tips.

So, I'll look forward to having you join me for my final two Garden Party shows of the season, Tuesday, May 14th at 9am and the finale on Tuesday, May 21st, also at 9am!

And don't forget our Last Chance Plants on qvc.com, along with many tools and other gardening favorites on my Garden Party page, which will be available to you throughout the season for items you may have missed.

Meanwhile.....don't forget to stop and smell the roses in YOUR garden....or the lilacs, or the lilies, or the fragrant day lilies!! They will all make your day more enjoyable!! Please POST your OWN garden photos on my Facebook page, Carolyn Gracie QVC, now that your flowers and plants are growing!! We would all love to see how each other's gardens are turning out!!

Waving to you from behind the rose hedge -
