by on ‎02-26-2013 11:33 AM

"Almost" Spring Greetings, QVC Friends!!

Now that we are nearly to March (wah-hoo!) it's time to officially launch Garden Party with Carolyn into its WEEKLY 2013 timeslot, on Tuesdays at 9am! I am MORE than excited to have you join me each week and I hope you'll put a big circle around Tuesday's at 9am on your calendar! My first weekly show will be Tuesday, March 26th at 9am and will run in that spot every Tuesday through May. This will be the third gardening season for the show, and I must say, this season will be the best yet!! We'll feature live plants for your lawn and garden from Cottage Farms and/or Roberta's Unique Gardens in nearly every show! We've also brought in a large collection of Plow and Hearth items for this season, new Smart Solar fountains, adorable statuary, functional and decorative solar lighting, patio furniture, rugs and umbrellas, planters to hang and to attach to your railings, windchimes, hoses and nozzles, useful and durable gardening tools, new fertilizers and nutrient products for your plants, pet and animal-themed items (they are simply adorable, if I may say so myself!), gear for you to wear like gardening gloves, San Diego Hat Company garden hats, Sloggers garden shoes and so much more! If you miss a show, don't worry, you can still see what you missed each week on my Garden Party with Carolyn page on QVC.com. You'll also find my favorite  "Garden Shed" items that you won't see presented on air!

I'll have a new Garden Blog for you each week and each one will contain a link to our new Gardening Video Blogs! We'll add a new installment each Tuesday before the 9am show.

These Video Blogs have been recorded by my good pals Eric Wallien of Roberta's and Phillip Watson of Cottage Farms, and will feature great info on gardening basics that they don't have an opportunity to share with you on air. This week's installment is from Eric Wallien, and discusses how to prepare your garden soil to get the best results from your flowers and plants.

If you are on Facebook, be sure to "LIKE" by Carolyn Gracie QVC page, where I'll frequently post my personal garden photos and pet photos for you to enjoy! I'd love for you to share YOUR garden and pet photos on my page as well!!

We're just getting started with a VERY exciting Gardening Season on QVC!! I hope you'll join us for all the fun and later this summer, enjoy your OWN outdoor living space even more, with the addition of some great ideas from Garden Party!

Happy Garden Planning!
Carolyn
