Our Today's Special Value Bernini Rechargeable Fountain was SUPER popular in my Garden Party Show this morning and is still available in case you missed it! In fact, I just placed my order for the Bronze color choice. Like many of you, I love my solar fountains but have wished for one that could run on a shady day, at night, or even indoors in the foyer or sunroom, but did not want to go to the trouble and expense of having an electrician and a plumber out to the house to install it. Today's TSV is the answer! It is absolutely beautiful, full of curb appeal and is battery operated, W... I call them "garden invaders" and I sometimes actually yell at them to "get out!"...just before I dig them out, of course! I wish some of my plants and flowers were as hardy as some of those weeds!

Just popping in with a quick update on what's been happening with MY garden so far this spring. (Otherwise known in much of the country as "the winter that wouldn't leave!".) Even though it's April, it's still a little too cold to plant much here in the Philadelphia area, although I have planted my deck planters, urns and pots with Pansies and English Daisies, and a few others that can stand it if the temps go below 35 degrees or so at night. First and foremost, know thy enemy! Here's what you need to know:
1) They don't fly into your yard from a faraway land in June or July. Adult beetles emerge from the ground in June or July depending on where you live. Here in Eastern PA, they show up around the 4th of July. They begin to feed as soon as they pop out of your soil.
2) How did they get there? Well, during the summer months when you're battling to keep them off of your roses and other plants, they'...
