Mary Beth's Menu - Smoothie Recipe

Smoothie


Ingredients:



  • 2 cups orange juice

  • 2 cups raw leaf spinach

  • 6-8 baby carrots

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup of ice


Blend together in a Vitamix or Ninja for about 30-45 seconds.

It tastes really good and is extremely healthy. Plus, it's a great way to get in your veggies!

For a variation, add one cup of your favorite yogurt; I like coconut Greek yogurt.

Just remember to put the lid on completely before turning on the machine!

I actually forgot and it erupted like a volcano! But in came Tito and he really liked it! He also helped me clean up most of the mess! He was licking it up just as fast as I was trying to wipe it up. I almost didn't tell you that part, but now I find it funny and hey, we are only human and we all make mistakes. And in the scheme of things, this one was pretty minor. And from Tito's point of view, it was a great day!
