Snack Smarter!

Make a decision that you'll only have nutritious foods in your house. Fill your kitchen with fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts, seeds, and a wide variety of proteins. If you want to have chocolate ice cream as a treat, go out to the ice cream shop to get it. If there's a half-gallon in the fridge, it's more likely to become a nightly downfall.



Here's a list of my top 10 snacks that'll help keep you full:



1. Raw veggies & 1/2 cup of hummus

2. An apple and string cheese
3. 1/2 cup of cottage cheese & mandarin oranges
4. 2 large hard-boiled eggs
5. Greek yogurt & strawberries
6. Apple slices & 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
7. 2 tablespoons chia seeds, mixed with almond milk & a sliced banana
8. Handful of nuts or seeds
9. A cup of edamame
10. Spiced popcorn (with your fave spices like cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, or cinnamon)
