Defy Gravity....Find Your Bliss!!!

I love Big, Beefy, Boys....and even more if they're Bald :~) You may have heard me loving refer to my husband as a "Sasquatch" or "Big Boy."  Those have become terms of endearment around my house as my husband is a little over 6'5". (His dad was 6'9")  Needless to say we have to "super size" everything around the house.  This was NOT something I gave much attention to when we were dating.  Back then, I was more concerned with whether or not my 5'8" frame could wear 4" heels on date night and still be shorter than my man.

All these years later, I have discovered that there are many standard "one size fits most" items that are really not that universal.  For example, we have a Cal King bed since the mattress is longer than a traditional King; however, we can't have a footboard because his feet hang off the end.  We couldn't buy a nosalgic "farmhouse" because his head would hit the door jams.  We have to test drive cars with the whole family to make sure that once he moves his seat back to accommodate his legs, we can still fit a child behind him.  We also had to special order a desk so his knees would fit underneath.  Sheeesh....it's a good thing he's cute because he's a lot of work...not to mention the cost to customize for him.

During one of the first years of our marriage, I tried to buy him a gravity chair for his birthday.  You know the leather ones they sell in the mall?  It seemed like the perfect present for him since he has such a bad back.  I envisioned him floating away his stress at the end of the day and getting some much needed R&R.  I created this whole blissful scenario in my mind and ordered the chair.  I couldn't wait for him to open it up!  I bet you can guess what happened next.  Yep, his legs were too long for the chair!!!  He got in, opened up the footrest, and leaned back.  His legs dangled off the end of the chair. Not only did it look ridiculous, he was completely uncomfortable.  I was so deflated....what a BUMMER!  Long story short (I know...too late), I wound up calling the company and they sent me an extender piece that was made specifically for tall people.  This wound up being a long and expensive ordeal. Fast forward all these years later.... my husband still LOVES his chair.  Nobody, and I mean NOBODY is allowed to sit in his chair but him.  This is his Go To chair.  He even moved it into our TV room and bought a matching lap desk so he could work from the chair.  He's Spoiled Rotten, don't you think?!?!?!

Fast Forward again to the Patio and Garden Style out I went to with Pat James Demintri.....  Do you remember our Bliss Hammocks?  This year the team debuted the Bliss Hammocks XL Gravity Free Recliner with a UV Canopy and Tray!!!!  I know, I can't seem to get enough exclamation points to express my utter delight!!!!  The canopy even blocks 90% of UVA & UVB lights....Woo Hoo.  Not kidding, this chair is a WINNER.  And since it 5" wider and holds an extra 30 pounds than last years, my "Sasquatch" fits just right :~)

I conned Courtney Cason into hopping in with me to show you just how big it is....

This is like going first class...especially since it comes fully assembled....out of the box and into Bliss!!!!  What brings you Bliss?  Join me at midnight and I'll show you all the colors......
