Zumba Fitness on QVC

Last week I hosted three hours of Zumba Fitness on QVC.  In those three hours I danced more than I have in the last three years (other than when I work out to my Zumba Fitness DVD’s.)  I have to tell you that I have NEVER had SO MUCH FUN working out!  It’s a blast and if you are not getting any cardio exercise this is the way to go!

We offered our first Zumba Fitness Today’s Special Value on April 7th of this year and it was a smash hit with our viewers!  I’ll never forget when our buyers asked me if I had done any Zumba dancing I said, “no but I’ll give anything a try!”  They handed me a box of Zumba dvd’s and said, “dance away!”  I took the dvd’s home and put the first one in which teaches you the various steps.   The instructor, Tanya Beardsley, broke it down movement by movement and it was really easy to learn.  I thoroughly enjoyed learning the Merengue March, the Salsa, the Samba, Reggaeton and more.  I now know Tanya having worked with her for four different hours of Zumba Fitness on QVC.  She is just as great in person as she is on the dvd’s.

The really cool thing about learning those steps was that I didn’t realize I was working out.  By the end of the hour my shirt was drenched and it then hit me that this really works!  I was hooked after that first dvd.  Now, I look forward to doing Zumba Fitness.  The new Zumba Exhilarate series is beyond any workout dvds I have seen.  From the sets to the costumes to the pulsating music these are the highest quality fitness productions I’ve ever seen!

I never thought that at the age of 56 I would be putting on Zumba outfits and dancing on national television.   But I am so thankful that I can!  Many people have come up to recently and said, “Hey Wheels!  Loved the Zumba outfit!” Of course, they were being facetious but they follow that statement up by asking me, “does it really work?”  The answer is:  IT ABSOLUTELY DOES!!!  As a former athlete I noticed that as soon as I stopped playing competitive sports it became very hard to keep my abs in shape.  I always fought that waistline area by doing all kinds of crunches and other ab exercises.

They say that the best workout is the one that you actually do.  If you love music and you enjoy dancing I guarantee you will love doing Zumba Fitness.  Better yet, you’ll love the results.  Like the song says,  “If you have the chance to sit it out or dance.  I HOPE YOU’LL DANCE!!!”
