Welcome to My Home!

I’m sure you all know about the great home decorating items we have here at the Q, but sometimes seeing them actually placed within a home makes all the difference. Today, I’m sharing with you some of my favorite QVC pieces I have at my house, then on Tuesday, May 5 at 3pm ET, I’ll be featured on Hosts at Home, part of our Ace Your Space event that day.

The ED On Air LIVE sign is a super-fun backdrop to our bar area (ED On Air Prelit Marquee Words with White Finish by Ellen DeGeneres). These signs are so cool. If you haven’t already, check them out - H204013. We sell several words (including HOME, LOVE, HOPE, and others) and they can also be mounted to the wall. I love mixing old and new décor throughout our home. For example, the buffet belonged to my grandparents and the letters are new from our ED On Air collection, along with a few other newer décor items I’ve incorporated.

This is the foyer table that I won at a local auction. I love the intricate carvings and I think the filigree on the bird cages (H204901 - ED On Air S/2 Decorative Rustic Birdcages by Ellen DeGeneres) tie in nicely. The mirror above the table belonged to my grandparents and adds a sweet finishing touch of vintage charm. I love changing the decorations on this table every season—the bird cages are perfect for spring and summer and the ombré flameless candles add a beautiful glow at night.

Nothing stays in the same place for long at my house. I like to move my décor items around throughout the seasons. Here’s another idea for decorating with the bird cages - H204013. This is the runner I used during Christmas but again, I like the way the filigree on the bird cages tie into the embroidery and pick up on the jacquard pattern in my chairs.

The Christmas runner quickly becomes a fresh spring piece with the right accents. The flameless candles are always a great option for adding a warm glow anywhere in your home. They’re clean, easy to use, and so pretty when lit (and unlit)!

Poo Pourri is in every bathroom in our home.  We used decorative window film that we found at a hardware store to cover the window in Lauren & Chelsea’s bathroom.

It is inexpensive, looks like stained glass, and lets in a lot of natural light.

I purchased Valerie Parr Hill Beaded Garland and used it as a swag over the windows in our dining room.  I love the look so much, I am leaving them up year round.

This picture is one of my favorites, it is baby Lauren. I was taking an oil painting class at Darlington Art School when I found out that I was pregnant with her.  I had to stop taking the class because of the fumes.  After I had her I didn't have time to take any classes but I occasionally would do some doodles of her.

This is Buzz saying hi and asking, "What Makes Your House a Home?"

Blessings,

Jayne
