Pssst! I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. See this beautiful Dinnerware Set from my ED On Air collection? It looks like ceramic… and it feels like ceramic… but it’s NOT ceramic. It’s actually made from durable melamine!

Seriously, when you hold these plates and bowls, they feel just as substantial as real ceramic pieces. They have organic edges and textured surfaces like they were handmade from clay. And, to make them really special, they’re hand-painted with patterns inspired by some vintage textiles that I have in my own home.

But, guess what happens if you’re eating out on the patio, and you drop one? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Okay, the dogs might get your salad… but you can use these dishes outdoors as well as indoors, and you don’t have to worry about breaking them.

And, just think—your outdoor barbecue guests will be so impressed. They’ll think you’re serving them veggie burgers on your finest, handcrafted ceramic dishware.

So… maybe we should keep the melamine thing just between us? I won’t tell if you won’t tell.
