My teapot collection started when I was still living at home. I was in the basement and came across several boxes, opened them and inside were three beautiful teapots. I asked my mother where them came from and she said they were wedding presents. I thought these are to pretty to be in boxes and not displayed. Not long after that I met James. When he took me to meet his parents for the first time I was blow away by the collection of teapots his mother had. She collected them from the many places she has visited over the years. I have about 25 my mother-in-law has over 75! I thought I would share a few of the teapots we have collected.
These are a few of mine including the newest addition, the Belleek Bunratty Castle teapot.
This is one of the teapots James and I gave Gloria for Christmas many years ago.
She loves the quirky and unusual ones
These are mini teapots
If you are wondering if we drink tea, the answer is YES!! Everyday, but we only use the teapots for special occasions.
