Our Royal Palace Princess

by on ‎09-25-2012 05:51 PM

Her name is Lucy. She's our dog. But please, don't  mention the word "dog" in her presence. She'll be offended. She is the princess of our little castle. And though you'd think the King and Queen would rule the roost, that is not the case in the Domeier home. The princess pretty much does whatever she wants,  when she wants. And with Princess Lucy, that often means… nothing at all. I wouldn't call her lazy…I just think that when it comes to traditional doggie behavior (jumping up and down and barking wildly every time you come home), she's, well, above it all.

Lucy

Lucy has a doggie Master's Degree in relaxation. And she has her favorite spots to relax. The stairs, the top of the couch, and … lounging comfortably, in true regal fashion… on our Royal Palace rugs. Dogs have a special sense of comfort. They know the "good spots." Lucy loves Royal Palace. And so do I.

I've known Gary and Dustin Moskowitz from Royal Palace for over 17 years now. I've worked with them both on-air and off. And I've had the true privilege of traveling abroad to see firsthand how much attention to detail is needed to create even one of their rugs. From the quality of the wool, to the intricate design, the hand tufting, the hand carving, to the shearing of the wool, watching the artists and craftsman creating a Royal Palace rug has been one of the highlights of my career at QVC. Having worked with thousands of great people over the years at QVC,  Gary and Dustin are at the very top of that list. They know quality, and if you shop around, you'll quickly realize, they also know value.

And the Royal Palace design team never stops. The upcoming Today's Special Value is  the perfect example. It's one  of the most uniquely beautiful Royal Palace rugs they've ever created. If you choose to make it a part of your Palace, it will instantly transform your space. And with a variety of sizes, that could mean everywhere from the bedroom to the family room to the kitchen. Just in case your princess wants to relax in another room.  Also, Royal Palace has combined three beloved designs--Watercolors Floral, Color Blocking, and Transitional Scrolls--into one stunning piece of art for your floor. The 100% wool rug features 70-line construction and 47 colors throughout – it's just stunning!

Whether it's special guests seeing your new design during the Holidays, or your own family relaxing and watching a movie, you'll be proud to have Royal Palace  in your own castle. And if Princess Lucy comes to visit you, she'll be relaxing on it in no time.

Check out for yourself tomorrow's TSV, the Royal Palace Watercolors Floral Colorblock Handmade Wool Rug. It's available in a great selection of shapes and sizes.

See you soon!!
