Hope You Enjoyed My Dad’s Farney Castle Colored Chick Figurines on St. Patrick’s Day!

Hello!

My name is Margot, and I was just at QVC with my dad, Cyril Cullen, for his appearance on the Saint Patrick's Day Celebration shows. Cyril Cullen of Farney Castle is a small, family-owned and operated business in the heart of Tipperary, Ireland. When we received the generous order from QVC a few months ago, the excitement in our household was awesome! Every member of the family (including our in-laws) came home to Farney and worked right through Christmas break to help in the making and packing of Cyril's sweet little porcelain chick designs. A lot of love and care went into each little chick.

Here is our home, Farney Castle, where we have our workshop!

My dad is a long-established designer in Ireland, and he celebrated his 50th year in business as a knitwear designer in 2011!! Myself and my three older sisters are extremely proud of his boundless energy and his enthusiasm for his designs. Not only is he a talented fashion designer, but he is also a completely self-taught ceramist – and that's what brought us to QVC. It is so lovely to see that QVC supports small, craft businesses and recognizes the talents of my dad.

Here is my dad, Cyril, hard at work on his porcelain chick designs for QVC.

Cyril's little chicks are sold in pairs and are available in refined pastel shade pairings of Pink/Blue and Green/Yellow. Personally, I think that they would make the perfect baby shower or engagement gift! Inspired by the little red hen and chicks we keep at Farney Castle and by his two little grandchildren – Ben and Lee – who love chicks, my dad created these cute little guys, which I believe will be treasures of the future.

I hope you enjoyed QVC’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration shows just as much as we did. If you missed my dad’s presentation, you can still shop his Farney Castle Set of 2 Colored Chicks (H195452) on QVC.com.

Best wishes!

Margot
