Life List: Take Time for Myself, Friends…and Yoga!

My life moment this month has to do with taking care of myself…both by spending quality time with good friends and by slowing down to smell the roses, so to speak. I had never tried yoga before...so I decided I was past due!

 

 

I have had the great privilege of working with Susan Graver for almost 25 years. Like a lot of women, we've shared our lives weekly at work, but rarely have we spent time together outside of work. I knew that Susan loves Pilates and yoga, so I asked if I could join her for a session. I was thrilled to find out that Stacey, Susan's global brand developer, has taught yoga for years and wanted to share my experience too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Susan's lovely home, the three of us bonded with an hour of yoga. We had some assistance from Susan's adorable corgi, Pebbles. She did a fantastic job...and as you can see, she really took relaxation to the next level! Smiley Wink

 

 

 

 

 

 

In my quest to discover yoga as a way to connect body and mind, I discovered it's also a great way to connect with others. It's said that we do better achieving our wellness goals if we have someone to inspire us to work out. Spending time Susan and Stacey helped me find extra motivation…and also made a wonderful memory for all of us!
