For those of us who prefer to attend a holiday party rather than throw one, we can be relieved that we don't have to answer the question of “what to serve”. However, as important for those of us who don't cook (or cook well), there's the more urgent question of “what to wear”. Holiday parties with friends and business associates often mean that we'll be seeing some of the same people a few times over the course of events. So how can you stretch your fashion wardrobe further and not break the bank by having a totally different outfit for each occasion? Think accessories! Scarves, handbags, shoes and, most importantly, jewelry not only complete your look, they have the ability to completely change the character of an outfit and, therefore, help you sparkle - and stretch a fashion budget.


If you've seen any of the fashion runway or red carpet coverage this season, you know that color is hot. The rich shades of blue, purple and red are everywhere, and mid to deep green shades are pulling in a close second. Well, if you have a closet full of black and brown pieces from previous seasons, don't despair! Bring in the hottest fashion colors with your accessories.
