Considering I had never been to London or Paris before, it's pretty amazing I traveled to both places in just a short amount of time! Our son, Eric was married in London in April and just a few weeks ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Paris with Rick Domeier. Rick and I helped in training ten Hosts who will launch QVC France later this summer.

Rick and I do not speak French; however, we connected with them pretty quickly. A few of the Hosts from France spoke English and we also had help from interpreters. I'm sure you can imagine the many laughs we shared together, especially given Rick's fantastic sense of humor! Facial expressions are priceless!

Rick explained what QVC is all about and the focus and priority our company places on our customers. Then I took them through the best practices of a presentation, explaining the amount of preparation it takes to really know what each product is all about.

Of course, we got them up and giving presentations, sometimes ending up in affectionate laughter. And of course, Rick had them laughing a LOT! 

It's exciting to see the growth of QVC around the world and finding out we may be able to help by sharing our experiences! It was a quick 72 hours in Paris, but it was a rich experience nonetheless .... one I will always remember and one I will always appreciate!
