Hello my LCNY fashionistas.....welcome to day light savings time. This means spring is just around the corner ...yeah. It also means my daughter Meghan's wedding is only 11 weeks away and Kevin's high school graduation is 2 weeks after that.

Spring is all about rebirth, newness, fresh starts and new beginnings. Last weekend I traveled to Washington with my daughter Sarah so we could be there for the FIRST fitting of Meghan's wedding dress. We went out to lunch, celebrated our girls weekend and then moved on to the darling wedding boutique for Meg's dress. There is nothing like it. Your daughter goes into the dressing room and comes out a beautiful young lady. Her same voice, face, smell and smile, but yet it transforms you back in time. Your daughter in your arms as a newborn, first day of school, first prom date....sitting up one night telling you about a boy named Matt (now her fiancé ) going off to college, first apartment after graduation and now a bride. Where did the time go?

For twenty six years her Dad and I have been her number one, now I have the honor of sharing my baby with a wonderful young man. They met at 16 and I could have told you they would marry. She has always been in love with Matt. 

I met Larry at 17...the rest is history. So my beautiful Meghan turned around in her bridal gown and said "mom what do you think?" My pink bundle of joy soon to be a bride......I respond "you look stunning and your Dad is smiling". Tear jerker....you bet....a moment I was privileged to be there for.......priceless!  

Join MBR and me for an hour of girlfriend time 9am tomorrow morning.
