Weekend Recap:

I hope you had good weekend PM Stylers! Aaron was a brave soul this weekend Smiley Happy  I invited him to attend a charity shopping event and we showed up to the party with him being one of the only guys there.  He was such a great sport though, and he’s starting to get the hint about shopping for the holiday’s early! Needless to say, I owed him one for that and we had a nice catch up dinner.

I am so excited… Pebbles Graver is coming to spend the week with us and I cannot wait for her to have Aaron wrapped around her finger.  She’s is the cutest and tiniest little corgi, and I can’t wait to spoil her rotten!

Less than a week away until my mom and step-dad come visit me for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Uh-oh… this means I better get to cleaning.  Now.   Do you have family coming in for the Holiday?

PS… Here is a pic of the new baby my mom just adopted.  She’s three years old and has terrible cataracts but she is on the mend and getting better each day.  We are so happy to have her in the family!

Beauty Obsession: Bobbi Brown Twilight Eye and Lip Palette A237069

One of my favorite things about the Holidays is all of the sparkle and shine.  It’s all about celebrating with your favorite collections of makeup, clothing, and accessories.  This is how I feel about this palette from Bobbi Brown.  What you’re looking at is a palette that will help you sparkle and shine.  This is all about you.  I love that is can be subtle or that you can build the drama.

For me, this collection is all about the eyes with an added bonus of 4 lip glosses.  These collections of 10 eyeshadows are light catching.  With three shimmer shades and two darker contouring shades, you can truly go from dusk till dawn with this collection.  I love that I can reach for this as a daytime look or add a little more of the darker colors to really make your eyes stand out.

Think Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve with this palette.  Plus, it’s the perfect size to take with you anywhere.

PS… check out my Facebook post tonight for PM Style and I’ll post a close-up of my Bobbi Brown look.

PM STYLE

Here a sneak peak at two items I think you would love to spend the Holidays with.  One is casual yet makes a statement from Lori Goldstein and the other is from Joan; An elegant accessory to make your existent wardrobe shine.

Project Runway: Back to School and Unconventional.

This challenge seemed near impossible at first!  When I think of Fashion, elementary school does not come to mind for inspiration. I think the biggest thing that surprised me was that the ENTIRE outfit was made out of school supplies.  I thought there would have been at least one fabric from Mood to come home with the designers! Ekk… I was on my toes the whole time! The materials the designers had to work with made me panic for them… No bend, no flexibility… but that’s why it’s All Stars; they make it work!

I think the funniest thing to be said all night was Elena commenting on Irina’s dress. “Irina’s dress is my least favorite because I hate flowers, so mahhh!”  WHAT?!?!

I loved Irina’s dress.  It reminded me of a perfume bottle.

I was most impressed with Christopher’s dress because it had such meaning and WOW who would have thought you could have made a dress like that out of school supplies!

I would have loved Korto’s dress if it had been a little longer.  The corset looked like it was well made, but the bottom of the dress fell apart for me.

Elena makes a fierce constructed dress, but it feels the same as all of the other weeks combined.

Jeffrey’s dress was such a comeback this week.  What a playful use of unconventional school supplies.  All of that lost its luster when I felt like I had to close my eyes to avoid seeing the models you know what! Ah! – No thank you!

Viktor- I love any outfit with feathers.  I loved his dress, but part of me wonders what part of it he actually designed since Elena helped him redesign.

Mychael-I just don’t know how we can ever come back from a dress like that.  I feel so bad for you that your dress fell apart on you!

Seth Aaron- I loved your kickball hat! Your look was playful and high fashion.

What did you think of this week’s ending?! I was happy to see they didn’t send anyone home- That was a tough challenge!  Who had your favorite look?

Don’t forget to check out my ToGather collection as I pick out pieces that are inspired by each week’s challenge.  You can also check out more inspired pieces by checking out our Project Runway page here:

That’s it for me, Have a great week!
