H.R.I.'s! - What Do You Think My Acronym Means?

by on ‎11-01-2013 12:04 PM

Within any given season, there are certain items in my wardrobe that get a lot of wear. I call them H.R.I.'s -- “Heavy Rotation Items”. They are the pieces in my closet that make it into the heavy rotation because, they’re versatile, appropriate, mix easily with other things, and I like the way they work for me. Now that November is here and transition dressing has morphed into full blown fall, I thought I’d share the handful of items that are my current H.R.I.'s.

Black Short Sleeve Turtleneck -- Do I even need to explain?

Animal Print Pencil Skirt -- I love a pencil skirt and the animal print mixes it up.

Skinny Jeans -- A dark wash skinny jean is workday and weekend. Plus they’re great with tall boots.

Tall Boots -- The riding boot craze shows no sign of slowing and that is just fine with me. (P.S. These boots will be in AM Style this week.)

Large Leather Handbag  -- I always love a big bag and during this time of year, it has to be big enough to fit my umbrella.

A statement coat -- Color and texture make a great statement when it comes to a coat. Pink warms things up when it’s cold outside and boucle looks luxe.

I would love to hear what pieces have made it into the "heavy rotation" in your wardrobe?

"See" you tomorrow morning!
