National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.” ― Mary Anne Radmacher

We all have battles that we face every day. Some days we are victorious; others, not so much.  Yet we get up every day, no matter what, and try again. Being able to try again is a privilege, one that is easy to take for granted. This is why it’s so important to remember those who are fighting one of the toughest battles we know: cancer.

Cancer awareness and support is a cause that is dear to my heart. As we say hello to October, we’re also entering National Breast Cancer Awareness month. An entire month dedicated to informing and raising awareness about Breast Cancer. There are so many ways to get involved through donations and charities, as well as educating everyone on early testing and detection.

So far I had the privilege of participating in two Breast Cancer Awareness events. I donated Women with Control pants to top yoga instructor Lore Kent, for her event with the Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition. I also attended FFANY which is celebrating its 20th year anniversary.  It’s always exciting to join so many amazing women in the fight against cancer, and I hope that you are able to join in and support as well.
