Behind Every Best-Dressed Celebrity Is a...

How many times have you looked at a celebrity looking all glamorous and perfect and thought, "I wish I had what they have!"?

Well, celebrities are constantly scrutinized for their appearance (and they really feel the pressure!). Looking perfect at every event is something that takes more than a good gene pool and a nice budget. It takes a really good stylist. The top stylists in Hollywood are the ones that don't dictate what a client wears. Instead, they learn their personal style, his or her likes and dislikes, and then they scour the fashion world to find the piece that fits that individual perfectly. It takes a lot of time, a lot of legwork, and relationship building with all the right people so you have access to the best pieces. In other words, it's not for "wusses!"

Cristina Ehrlich is one of those "top stylists" in Hollywood. Her client list is a who's who of "best dressed" on the red carpet. She's spent years working in New York and L.A. to give her clients the polish and style they need to stand out and define themselves in the crazy world of celebrity. Personally, I think it's a coup to have her on QVC, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her on occasion.

Even though this is only the second time I've worked with her as a stylist, I found she already has me "down" in the style department. This Friday night, I'll be doing the Red Carpet remote with Amy and Courtney in L.A. (I'm wearing Mark Zunino!) and going to events on both Saturday and Sunday. And, lucky for me, Cristina helped me with my wardrobe.

Although we chose the outfits fairly quickly, we were only able to do that because Cristina and her team had already put in hours of work beforehand. This is why people rely on a good stylist. They bring you the best pieces, they already know your style, and then you just choose from the cream of the crop. This is so much better than going out and shopping for days trying to find the perfect piece all by yourself. I'm excited about this trip and I love what Cristina and I chose. We'll do the final finishing touches when I'm in L.A. and then I'll feel like Cinderella going to the ball. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I hope you enjoyed the video. I'm excited about the outfits and excited about the big "Red Carpet Style" show live from Los Angeles this Friday night at 9pm ET.

See you then!

P.S. Courtney and Amy are being dressed by Jen Rade, who's also a leading celebrity stylist from L.A. (She's going to be in our show this Friday night as well!) Want to see what Amy and Courtney are wearing?
