As many of you know, my son David and his fiancé Christine are getting married this coming April and I could not be more excited! Christine's wedding gown is selected, the first fitting is this weekend, the bridesmaid dresses have arrived, the tuxedo measurements have been taken, and needless to say, the wedding festivities have begun!

In the midst of the last northeastern snowstorm, Christine's family threw her a beautiful bridal shower. It was originally planned for Saturday, but the weather decided that Sunday would be more suitable! Christine's younger sisters, Julie and Nicole and her mother Rosanne organized the entire party from fun games and presents to delicious food and wonderful company. It was heart warming and delightful meeting Christine's extended family and closest friends.

The color scheme of the shower matched the color Christine has chosen for her wedding... Pink! The bridesmaids' dresses as well as the tuxedo ties and flowers will be a matching blush pink color. A perfect hue for a spring morning wedding!

Christine's sister, Nicole baked a selection of cookies and cupcakes that would rival any NYC bakery... They were sooo delicious! Here's a pic of me with my best friend Sandi enjoying them. Sandi was decked out in Susan Graver!!! She literally has every color of my Liquid Knit cardigan set A209919 and she mixes and matches them all the time. Oh, and by the way... everyone was in LOVE with my Lucite Bangles, J267411! I wore a jacket and peach tank paired with my favorite Milano Knit Pant, A91321.
