Here Come The Sunflowers

I know Van Gogh’s famous painting immortalized the sunflower. However, do you know that the history of the Sunflower is a true American Flower and its origin can be traced back over 5000 years to what is now our Southwest?   The Chinese believe the Sunflower is a symbol of long life, good luck and happiness.  Also, there’s an old myth about sunflowers….that the flowers track the sun across the sky.
