Hi everyone! Well, I can't believe it is that time of year again - The Holidays are here! It has been a wonderful fall on QVC and I want to thank so many of you for shopping with me. It’s always great as a designer to know that your designs are well received. This season was particularly exciting as I launched my first signature fragrance Dennis Basso Eau de Parfum that I have waited to do for so many years at I wanted it to be just perfect. A true labor of love. Your response has been overwhelming and the reviews just wonderful! I cannot thank you all enough for trying my eau de parfum and loving it as well. Fragrance is really the final touch when getting dressed. My scent really defines the true ‘Basso’ woman - Elegant, sophisticated and modern.

Coming Soon!

As we enter December, I have a very special item coming up on December 7th with several shows throughout the day. This luxurious coat is a design directly from my couture collection. A 3/4 length coat with toggle closings - the hottest look of this season along with a butter soft faux fur in several patterns to choose from and a removable hood. It is the perfect outerwear piece for this winter. I always try to bring you the newest and best looks of the collections and always at an affordable price. This is really a winner and will be your ‘go to’ coat every day. All of the shows are chock-full of great fashion, many new designs and of course we’ll be bringing back some favorites in new colors. These will be my last shows of 2012 so please try to join me. You know we always like to have a little fun in all the shows!!

My Reversible Faux Fur Toggle Coat with Detachable Hood will be available for sale at MIDNIGHT on December 7th and comes in 2 patterns and 5 colors:

Graphite – reverses to faux chinchilla fur

Taupe – reverses to faux cheetah fur

Merlot – reverses to faux chinchilla fur

Chocolate – reverses to faux cheetah fur

Black – reverses to faux cheetah fur

After that I will be getting ready for Christmas myself. The good part about being at QVC around this time of year is I LOVE shopping at the QVC store in Studio Park. Between that and online it really helps make the holidays a little easier. I’m also starting my decorating and many of you know that I love to do that. I will be posting photos on my Facebook page so come take a look:

Happy Holidays to all of you and your families and may God bless you.

~Dennis

Hi Dennis, I have 2 of your coats, have bought many blankets and a couple of bears! Your products are wonderful and I will watch your QVC shows even when I don't need to buy something because I find you a very genuine and entertaining guest. I would like to ask a question regarding manufacture of your coats (and I am asking you because you happen to have the TSV today but I have the same question for all of QVC's designers). I noticed for the first time during the midnight show that your coats are made in China. I understand that one of QVC's primary goals is high quality at a good price and clearly that is how many designers are able to provide that. I'm guessing that you've done the research on the difference in cost to produce here in the US but is it really that major a difference? I would be able to spend more for a coat if I knew it was made here. I think a lot of people would. I don't suggest that anyone not buy your products because they are not made here, I'm just hoping that finding a way to bring the jobs home would be something you and other prominent and respected designers could work together to try to do. Thanks for considering it and I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season.

Happy Holidays! This is my first Dennis Basso! I've always missed my faux fur coat when I was a kid in the 70's. Now I'll have your Beautiful/useful coat in the merlot color. Mr. Basso you are so full of Joy and make the rest of us feel how much you enjoy designing your beautiful clothes and faux fur items. if your coat and the matching scarf make me Happy Like You... They will be just what I need to make my Holidays special. I think you should talk about how "No fauxs were injured in the production of this TSV!" Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! From Tallhassee, Fl

Dennis, I purchased my first Dennis Basso leopard faux fur this year. It is very beautiful. I

visited a friend early in December and she had two of your faux furs. I fell in love with the light grey stroller length and would LOVE to purchase one just like it!!Will you still have some available in early 2013???

Hi Dennis, I used to love your line of faux furs and clothes, but sad to say, not anymore. I still love you as a person, but something has gone south with your QVC line over the past 12 months (or maybe a little longer). The quality and fit don't seem the same...is it because your items are now being produced in China? It almost seems like it's not you designing anymore, but someone else (much less talented than yourself) and that you're putting your name on it. Your line used to be about couture quality, fit, design, luxury and drama. For the past year or so, your line of coats and clothes now have the fit, quality and style of a garment you would expect to find at someplace like Target or Sears...definitely not designer quality and definitely not what a "Dennis Basso Girl" would wear. What happened to your line of fashion at QVC??? If they're forcing you to make cheap products at QVC, maybe you should consider getting your own web-site for faux fur fashions and market yourself directly to the public. You could charge more in order to preserve the quality of your line (and protect the quality of your stellar reputation). Last edited on 1/16/2013 Last edited on 1/16/2013
