Bubble Time

What signifies Fall for you? The first true sign of Fall for me is when the bubble goes up on my tennis club’s courts. Bubble up…Fall here!

So last weekend was the beginning of fall for me when. I played 2 games of doubles inside the bubble protecting the courts. I love that I can play all winter, rain, shine, snow, or frigid temperatures.

Out at my weekend house there are more fall signals. The geese are starting to migrate somewhere else, only to be replaced by a flock of newly arrived ducks. In the morning when the air is cool and crisp it’s fleece time again. I love to wrap up in my fleece robe, sit out on my deck, and have my morning coffee. Tell me…what do you like to wrap up in this time of year to make you feel your coziest? (I hope it’s a Stan Herman!)

And as I work in my New York City studio overlooking historic Bryant Park behind the elegant NY Public Library, I witness another Fall phenomenon, the leaves on the Park’s very famous 90 year old Plane Trees (also known as Sycamores) fading into that impossibly beautiful fall green. Nature at its best!

Before I return to QVC next week with a truly, wonderful Fall Surprise for you, I’m off to San Francisco for the premier of an opera. More on that next time. Till then stay warm & cozy!
