My last day in my wonderful New York apartment was bittersweet.  After 22 years of commuting 3 hours from New York to QVC I've decided to take the plunge and live close to the Q. Guess I'm getting smarter in my years... I don't know what took me so long!

I lived in New York my entire life both in the suburbs and in the city. I love the energy of the city and the fact that any designer, show, museum, or restaurant is only a walk or cab ride away! I lived near beautiful Central Park where I walked my dog everyday. Oh, the memories...

Here’s a photo of the Boathouse where Sammy and his friends ate so many breakfasts.

And here's the lake by the Boathouse where my bulldog, Jimmy, jumped into and my husband, Richard immediately jumped in after him knowing bulldogs can't swim. As I stood by in tears, Richie, my hero, came out smiling with Jimmy in his arms. Both breathing and both reeking with the most awful, disgusting stench and black muck all over both of them. Richie and Jimmy washed off at a nearby fountain as crowds of people cheered them on. Quite an eventful morning!

There are lots of memories and great times. This is a photo of Sammy and I after his last grooming in NYC before our big move.

Well, I'm on a new journey here in beautiful PA, just in time for a very special Today's Special Value! Hooray! Can you imagine the energy I'll have on air now that I don't have to commute 3 hours? This could be dangerous...
